About Us

Learning & teaching are our passions. We dedicate ourselves to sharing knowledge about the technologies and systems that have the power to change the world for the better. We teach about (sound) money, technology and the systems that govern them. We show how Bitcoin and other decentralised networks can be of value to all of society. We teach about the basics of investing, trading and how to do your own research in the world of cryptocurrencies. We teach to improve financial and technology literacy and help better understand the next phase in the evolution of money.

Colin

For over 12 years I have worked in the datacenter hardware industry. This is where I learned about the foundational technologies of the Internet. When I started learning about Bitcoin in 2017, it is this knowledge that made me “get” what made Bitcoin so special. From this moment onwards I started my learning journey to understand Bitcoin and cryptocurrency on a much deeper level, it challenged me to learn about economics, finance, money, debt, cryptography, privacy and game theory. It made me want to learn and teach.

I immediately started to teach those around me, starting with family and friends. This is where I discovered my passion for teaching and I continued to teach as a professional hobby while working in the field of AI and computer vision the last 3 years. In the summer of 2021 we launched Pineo and are dedicated to teaching about the world of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies on a full time basis.
